My best moment in Greece was when we made our first meal because we ate good thinks so we discovered this gastronomy which isn't the same in France. We had fun, we could share our feelings about this first day so it was great !

The ladies had to wear skirts!!!

We then visited the Mushroom Museum in which there were first stuffed animals staged in their habitats and then on the floor mushrooms of all kinds, mushrooms are crucial for the environment because they help decompose organic matter (dead wood, etc.) they can also replace meat because they have the same texture and various flavors. After lunch we visited the town of Trikila, located next to the Aegean Sea and then returned to our correspondents.

Wednesday 15th

We took the bus to visit Karla city and the information center.
We learned that in  1962 they took the decision to empty the lake in order to expand
agricultural lands . The places quickly suffered from many environmental problems : loss of biodiversity and water points which made agricultural lands useless.

Sustained by European fundings an important project  permitted to restore 38 km water spaces.
Today, the lake is an internationally important wetland which belong to the Natura 2000 network and is home to 180 bird species and 14 fish species.

Then we went to visit the city of Volos where is located the insects museum.
Insects play many different roles such as pollinating flowering plants,
breakdown and making of organic material and seeds movements.
Insects represent a potential alternative to animal proteins because their
rearing has a lower environmental impact
